Reminder

Remember that you must be logged in to your SJUSD student account to download materials from this site.

The Students user ID is the same as their Student number – example S123456 and the password is a random password consisting of letters and numbers assigned to them or if they changed it it would be a password of their choice.  We no longer use or recommend the use of their birth dates.

If Students do not remember their passwords they will need to reset their password thru iForgot.sjusd.org and select the option “Forgot My Password”, it will then take them thru a security question and answer

Welcome Back!

It was nice to meet you all.

Your letter writing assignment is due Friday 8/16 at the start of class. Please be prepared to turn it in.

-JC

Colleen's Survey

Today you're going to participate in an experiment to study the effects on ASMR. ASMR is noted by communities online for being able to calm those who view it, lowering their anxiety and even stress for those who regularly watch it. Please follow these steps. If you wish not to participate, please grab a consent form to be signed by your parent or guardian(if under the age of 18).

1. Make sure you're in a quiet environment.
2.Click on Treatment 2 Survey 1. For thirty seconds, measure your heartbeat. Multiply it by 2 then continue filling out the survey.
2. Once you have submitted your survey response, open up an RNG(random number generator) of 1 to 3.
3. Now, click on the asmr.mp4  link. Depending on the number you received, please go to
 1. 0:00 - 3:00
 2. 3:13 - 6:24
 3. 6:50 - 9:53
4. After viewing the ASMR video, click on Treatment 2 Survey 2. Measure your heartbeat again following instructions stated earlier. Then, after filling out the survey, please submit the survey.

Thank you for completing the experiment!
